This last weekend was fabulous! Florence had an international food festival in the Piazza Santa Croce from Thursday through Sunday. The festival had great food! Polish sausages, Roasted Pig on a spit, humongous pretzels, and Italian cookies! Friday night, Sarah and I went out with our friend Shauna and met up with some interesting people from Argentina. The six of us when to an Italian disco we'd never been to before and had a blast!! Saturday, we all went back to the same disco and enjoyed meeting some Italians and dancing the night away! On Sunday, our friends Myriam and Brionna invited us to their apartment for dinner. The apartment was fantastic! They had a great kitchen, a large backyard with trees and a grill, and a fresco in the living room. Their shared bedroom was a loft, so both girls had privacy. We enjoyed a barbeque-esque dinner outside in the courtyard with our three new Italian friends (Claudio, Fanta, and Gianluca), and then went to a local spot to chat! It was absolutely wonderful!
