A night of Irish Dancing

Mama and I spent Wednesday shopping around. We stopped for lunch at a local fish and chips joint and enjoyed our meal with a very cute Irish guy, his grandfather, and former girlfriend. Later that afternoon, I found a unique Clauddaugh ring and a lovely setting with a peridot that I love! We continued on to the Western hotel, where Mama had a fabulous seafood chowder. We kicked back to relax until the dancing began. Around 9:30, couples began to enter through the restaurant doors and wind through the chairs towards the back area – a fabulous dancing space. I followed along, talking with the dancers and even enjoying a waltz! Sitting on the couch, it seemed as if the stomping dancers whirled across the room to the beat of their own feat. The Irish accordion and guitar accompanied the rhythm of the multitude of stomping feet. When things began to wind down around 11, Mama and I traversed back to the B&B, staying up until 4 am reading novels, but still awaking early enough to enjoy that Irish breakfast we loved! After breakfast on Thursday we commenced our day of travel back to the homeland, Italia.
