I found a new apartment for the spring semester!!! The rent is a little less than what I am paying now! Currently, I pay 520 euro a month (including utilities) for a one bedroom apartment that has a bathroom (with a box shower) and a kitchen/living area. But next semester Sarah and I both have our own rooms, a shower with a glass door, and a nice kitchen, (no living room though...). And, we are paying a little less! (But, since we aren't going through the school, the agency requires us to put down more money as a safety deposit.) The apartment is located in a "nicer" area of town, near the Arno river (Lungarno area), Santa Maria Novella Station, and two grand hotels. Another exciting thing! Internet is available! So! No more sharing of the computer, and constant internet! Sounds amazing! What a find! Hard work pays off after all :-)
